Monday October 26th, 2020 saw the relaunch of our website and formal reopening of the company to supply orders.

Please take the time to read a little bit about our relaunch, our new premises and how you can help by providing feedback on the products that you require.

 

Now

Over 58 years, our company has been built by many people and for many it has become much more. It has become part of our lives, our friendship, our family. Something that we built together.

The events of March 12th, 2020 and the complete destruction of our warehouse by fire and the subsequent challenges of COVID have forced us to make some radical changes to our company and how we operate. We could have just closed the doors after the fire but we believe that we have a new opportunity to build a new spare parts model fit for the 21st Century.

We knew that any relaunch had to be honest and robust. We have worked solidly for 6 months to deliver a Homespares for a new era as a customer first, digital-led company.

We are committed to refocusing and creating the kinds of products and services you need and want.

Over the next few weeks, we will be asking for your feedback on the products that mean the most to you, the ones you’d love to see us stock and the ones that really need to ensure that you can make a high degree of first time fixes.

 

Stock

We have a new warehouse in Bolton which is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We hope to extend this to 7 day opening over the next few months.

We are building our stock profile and by Jan 2021 plan to have at least 1200 lines in stock on the shelf available for next day delivery plus access to over another 1 million lines listed as special order. Some specials will be available for next day delivery but some such as Beko lines could take upto 6-8 weeks depending on location. This all depends on supplier integrations. Better flagging of our special orders will be seen shortly on the website with approximate lead times.

Unfortunately, the range of Unifit branded goods will not be available but will be replaced with an alternative brand in most instances.

All products in stock are available for Next Day Delivery and can be sent by the Royal Mail, DPD or Parcelforce.

Q.        Are your products supplied in homespares branded packaging?

A.         No. All products are packed specifically for sending out to the customer. We cut down on cost as well as cutting down on packaging waste.

 

Q.        Are we open?

A.        Yes. Our website is live and our Shop is open from Monday to Friday at present 8.30am to 5pm. We hope to extend that to 7 days and longer opening times.

 

Q.        Are you able to supply alternatives to Genuine Products?

A.         We will carry the best selling lines for the industry along with the best value prices. We will always supply the correct product for the appliance be that genuine, grey or pattern part. These are shown on the website as Genuine or Homespares Replacement.

It is our aim to work closer with our partners to supply the original parts as a preferred route to Replacement parts.

 

Q.        Am I able to click and collect?

A.         Yes as long as it is in stock. Please allow 1 hour if ordered online. We are open at the moment from 8:30am to 5pm
