The Dyson groom tool is a fantastic way to keep your home clean if you are a dog owner. It attaches to your Dyson vacuum cleaner to remove loose and flyaway hair directly from your dog’s coat, before it’s shed around the home.

Conventional dog grooming tools have always suffered from the same problem: mess. Once you’ve used them to groom your dog, you have to clean the tool. Then the floor. The Dyson groom tool self-cleans. Captured hair is sucked away hygienically into your Dyson vacuum cleaner, without the mess.

Dog hair is captured by 364 slicker bristles angled at 35°. The bristles flex to an upright position when you apply pressure, allowing them to penetrate the entire coat. Different breeds of dog have different coats, so bristle length is adjustable using a spring-loaded trigger. When not in use, the bristles retract for safe and hygienic storage. Suction also captures dead skin cells and allergens, which can help make your dog’s coat look healthier.

The vacuum cleaner’s suction is split during grooming, with enough suction directed to the dog’s coat to capture loose hair and dead skin – without sticking. Remove the Dyson groom tool from your dog and release the thumb-trigger and full suction is transferred to the soleplate to suck the captured hair away.

It’s suitable for medium and long-haired dogs. It fits all Dyson vacuum cleaners except DC01 machines, DC21 Motorhead, DC22 Motorhead, DC23 Motorhead and all Dyson handhelds.
