We accept that our website will never be finished because we work every day to improve functionality to move with the times, hopefully, giving you a great experience.

With this in mind, we have put together a user guide to help you get the best out of the website whilst explaining limitations and how we will improve in the future.

1. User Login / Free Registration

Without a USER LOGIN you will never see your prices. Not got a login? Please call us. You will always however, be able to use our site and place orders but the price you see is the price you will pay.












At the top right hand side of the homepage click Log In / Register.                                                               

If you already have an account, log in with your details. Alternatively click register for a free account.


1.1 Sign In to Your Account

Once you are logged in, you can navigate through your account.


1.2 Account Management


You can edit and add multiple delivery addresses to your account.          


  You can view where your orders are up to during the order process.

If need be you can change your log in details.


1.3 Forgotten your Password

If you have forgotten you password, click forgot you password. The link will bring you to this page where you will be able to reset your password. Enter your email address and click send confirmation.You will receive an email with a link, follow the link to reset your password.





1.4 Register For an Account

To register for an account it is easy. Click register for a new account, it will take you this page. Fill in your details and submit. You then have an account with us.



2. Search Bar

Enter what you are looking for such as a part number, description or model reference.

At present this is an exact search, so if something is incorrect you will not get any results. We are working on a new search routine which will be introduced once we have sorted out our model data. This will allow for partial searches and will be intelligent to recognise dots, dashes and slashes which are prevalent in manufacturers model data.

We are also working on all descriptions of products to make them the same to enable you to find the right part quickly.

Good examples of searches are at least three words, such as

Hotpoint door seal, hoover vacuum bag, amica cooker element.

We are trying our best to ensure the actual appliance is in every description.

If you’re looking for a model number then just type in the model number, but make sure its correct. DO NOT TYPE the manufacturer and then the model number, this is not as successful.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for then give us a call and let us do the work.



Search our website for the part/s you are looking for, with specfic keywords. For example just using one keyword will find everything with that one word in - which could be 100s of products.                                                                                                                      


By using product specfic keywords, the quicker you will be able to find the part you are looking for. For example Hotpoint washing machine carbon brushes was searched, which found two products.



Alternatively you can search our website using a brand. For example Numatic, Whirlpool, Unifit, Severin. This type of search will find all the products associated with the Brand. Here the brand Unifit has been searched, which has found 191 products.


You can use a model number in the search bar, this will find all the spare parts for that particular model. Here model number WDPG9640KUK has been searched, which has found 165 results.


3. Product Categories

We’ve put the most popular categories on the front page. All other products can be found by using the navigation outlined in black at the top of the page.

Using these Product categories you can easily navigate through the website, finding the spare part or finished good you require.

The categories across the top, hover your mouse over and a drop down will appear so you can narrow down your search. Alternatively use the 12 boxes underneath to navigate to the products.


4. Brands

Homespares stocks a wide range of spare parts for a variety of brands. On the homepage you can click on a brand in the ‘Our Brands’ section, to see the full range of products for that make -
genuine and non genuine.

We work closely with our suppliers to provide our customers with the best products at great prices.These are our most popular brands, we believe we can give you a full service from both a
product and a technical point of view.

Homespares is the UK distributor for Severin and Summit Brands and Unifit.

The Homespares own branded products keep prices competitive and the market fresh, with quality spare parts and amazing prices.

Our staff have access to manufacturers techincal drawings, as well as suppliers websites to source any spare part you may require for the latest or older appliances.


5. Price Promise

We want to know if we’re not competitive -Simple.


Clicking on the Price Promise banner on the home page will take you to the Price Promise Page.                        

Homespares is comitted to giving our customers the best possible price. If you find a part cheaper somewhere else - tell us!

Guarantee is valid for 7 days from date of purchase.
To make a claim you need to email the following information:

  • Your invoice number (highlighting theitem you wish to price match)
  • The competitor's website address
  • The competitor's price including VAT and any delivery charges

If your claim is accepted you will be refunded the difference.

6. Trusted Engineers

Today, people are finding it harder and harder to find people they trust to repair their appliances. We want to promote our trade customers to the general public to give a great service.


Our Find an Engineer page is local engineers that we work with and trust.

Homespares aims to help customers and local businesses. We’d like customers to repair appliances instead of buying new when possible.


If you are in need of a engineer, head over to Find an Engineer. Each engineer repairs specific brands and applainces so check the list before you ring them.


7. Trade Accounts

Use a lot of spares? Appliances? Want better prices? Why not open a trade account with us? It costs nothing. We treat all our customers the same regardless of size with a 4pm cut off for next day UK delivery.

Getting a Trade Account is easy. Click the banner on the home page and fill out the enquiry form.


If you are an individual self employed engineer or a multi-million pound organisation or business you are egiable for a trade account. Once approved you will have a dedicated Key Account Manager, who
you can call regarding sales, orders or any other issues. Remember, to get Trade Prices, you need to call us to set you up correctly. You can call us on 01204 558181 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
The account side is something we will be working on in the coming months to give you more information instantly. At the moment, you can change your security details, see where your order is up to and edit addresses.

Each week we send out 1 new lines email and 1 special offer on products we think you like. We don’t believe in spam or filling your inbox with stuff that you don’t want. Not signed up? What you don’t know, you don’t know!

We send out weekly emails to our customers, that give them information on products, updated prices and news. If you would like to receive these please submit your email in the sign up box on the home page.
